One of Sonshine Interpreting’s five core values is feedback and evaluation. One way we do this is through debriefing. What other opportunity do you have to engage with other Christian interpreters to give feedback and develop professionally? Probably none! Below are a few ways we ask you to participate:
Come prepared to give and receive feedback
Have a notebook to carry throughout the event to make notes.
Evaluate what you see and how we can improve accessibility and better support interpreters on the a SWOT document.
The four areas to consider: “Strengths” “Weaknesses” “Opportunities” and “Threats”
These debriefing times are to grow and learn together. No one has anything to prove. Any feeling of insecurity or self-doubt is a lie from the enemy. Let’s be open minded and value growth spiritually and in our profession.
